Congratulations to our advisors, officers, and members-the AMU & APU Students for Life chapter has earned the APUS 2023 Outstanding New Organization of the Year award!
The AMU & APU Students for Life chapter launched on January 18, 2022. Students for Life offers an important way for APUS pro-life students, alumni, faculty, and staff to connect and share support, information, and initiatives. One of our members recently posted: “I finally looked at the AMU and APU [Students for Life] website and realized a lot of our officers and advisors are history majors. As a history major myself, I often find myself alone when it comes to being pro-life as many of my history friends lean pro-choice on the issue, so thank you for proving to me that I am not alone.”
Olivia Garza, the TX/OK Field Operations Coordinator for Students for Life of America said of our chapter:
“AMU & APU Students for Life also holds the title as the first ever remote Students for Life group; they are a rare gem among the 1,300 student groups that we serve. We decided to recognize this unique group not only because their leadership team is respectful, kind, and hardworking, but also because they represent all three of Students for Life of America’s core values- gritty, fast-moving, and innovative.
It is also hard to ignore this Students for Life group’s obvious love for their university as they frequently share university resources with their members, including career services, Newman Center resources and events, university news, and other school opportunities with each other.”
We invite interested AMU and APU students, alumni, faculty, and staff to join us and help support and defend life from conception until natural death. File a membership application today!
